COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
MORE THAN THRIFTING.
TAKING ACTION IN OUR COMMUNITY
High School Service Day
The Magic Hat is thrilled to be an annual participant in the High School Community Service Day where students spend the day engaged in volunteer service. The program was conceived by Marblehead High School (MHS) Principal Dan Bauer and geared toward getting the students to engage in their community in a meaningful way. It was rolled out in 2018 and was originally planned for freshman students, the program has since been expanded to include additional grades.
The Magic Hat is also a site for the newly launched service learning and engagement class, also from the MHS, which grew out of the community service day.
